Over the last 8 or so updates, updates have been ranging from trickling in to near normal. I'm thinking of doing something about within a few weeks...

I'm looking for a few new regulars to send submissions in to me. However, I'm not accepting just anyone this time...

Only 12 out of my 37 regulars are from the western half of the United States (excluding Canada) The other 25 are on the eastern half of the United States. The last 8 updates to the site with the exception of Texas have been all in the eastern half of the United States. Being as I've been born and raised in the Western half of the United States, it's a little upsetting to see that the western half has been neglected too much.

Out of the 12 regulars, 6 are from California (most are inactive), 2 from Arizona (counting myself), inactive for the last 6 months or so, 1 from Oregon (inactive), and 3 from Texas (1 very active, 1 barely active, 1 inactive). Due to all the inactivity, there's been very little western coverage the last year or so.

I'm asking for new regulars in the western states to be added.

Areas requested:

New Mexico (Anywhere in the State)

Oregon (Southern 2/3 of the State)

Washington state (Anywhere in the State)

Utah (Anywhere in the State)

Colorado (Anywhere in the State)

Idaho (Anywhere in the State)

Nevada (Anywhere in the State)

Wyoming (Anywhere in the State)
Montana (Anywhere in the State)

Arizona (Most UP, BNSF I-40, and shortline areas)*

California (Northern 1/3, LA Harbor Area, Southern Deserts only)**

*Note: Nearly all of the BNSF Peavine sub has been covered already, and about 2/3 of all BNSF crossings are covered. There is partial coverage on BNSF paralleling the I-40 interstate that has not been gotten yet. Also, other than the "Arizona & California Railroad" and "Arizona Central Railroad", there is no coverage whatsoever of any of the shortline railroads such as "The Apache Railway", "Arizona Eastern Railway", "Copper Basin Railway", "Black Mesa & Lake Powell Railroad" and the "San Pedro & Southwestern Railroad". Also, UP is barely covered at all from the AZ/CA border to Phoenix, and then from Phoenix to Tucson, and from Tucson to Mexico and New Mexico. Submissions from any listed above are appreciated.

**Note: There is a lot of coverage from Central California already, and I'm not looking for more coverage in this area. I'm looking for coverage from the Southern Deserts such as BNSF and UP, and Arizona & California Railroad, coverage from the LA Harbor area (Will accept anyone who goes there on the spot), and from the Forestry areas such as Northern California around the Eureka area (defunct, but still a good amount of signals remaining).

If anyone is serious about sending submissions in from the west coast, please inquire at Smjh1979@cableone.net or Smjh1979@gmail.com. I'm just getting an idea on who's available. I won't be accepting new people for a few weeks yet due to upcoming travels I have to make, but I'm just finding out how many people on the West coast who will be available.

Note that a person living from the eastern half of the US traveling to the west coast on a vacation or short trip will not count. You MUST live along the western half of the US to qualify for submitting purposes.

For those who will get accepted, please read the rules of submitting here: http://www.rxrsignals.net/Submit with a HEAVY emphasis on absolutely no 640x480 pictures accepted under any circumstances. If you don't have the camera available to take them, don't inquire. Some of my current regulars are still submitting 640x480 pictures, and I'm constantly having to go to these people and reminding them that 640x480 is not accepted anymore.

An excellent idea on what pictures and angles to take can be found here: http://www.rxrsignals.net/Texas/R-W/Sherman/Odneal/

Please email and I'll see about adding you in a couple of weeks.
