Well, this line has no chance of coming back to life ever. You can see in picture 1 of remains of a Griswold "A" type signal that was vandalized. In December, 2003. Vandals tried to take it apart and keep it for themselves. They got most of it in their truck, but police saw them and arrested them. I was told they got charged a hefty fine, although I can't really see a really heavy fine due to a dead line that was abandoned 5 years at the time...
The other signal in picture 3 was left untouched. There's no bell on picture 3, so it had to be on the vandalized signal. |
