The westbound signal front view.

The westbound signal side view.
Looking east at the rear of the westbound signal.

The westbound signal is a Griswold style signal with 7" gate lights! Check out how long the sidelight arm is...it needs an extra brace to support it! I think this could qualify for the FRA's entry for "Cantilevered FL-Not Over" but they have it entered as a mast signal. The mechanical bell is a Safetran bell.

A closer up picture of the back of the westbound signal.
WCH 8" main lights.
Genuine Griswold sidelights.
Looking east.

In picture 5 it appears that a gate counterweight is missing. Compare with picture 2.

The main lights are WCH 8" lights, and the sidelights are Griswold lights. They don't appear to have peep lights on the sides, or they have been filled in for some reason.

The eastbound signal shown in picture 8 and 9 is a 12" x 24" incandescent Safetran signal with a regular mast and base, and has 7" gate lights too!

I really wanted to see this crossing in action, so I waited here for over an hour. Despite the relatively high daily train count, nothing came by. I would like to make a return visit to this crossing though and get it in action.
