This is an interesting crossing setup here. There's 3 crossbucks, 3 stop signs, and 1 wigwag signal! |

This wigwag has some weird features about it.
1) As seen in picture 4, the top 1/4 of the signal does not have the "cross" on the background. It's only 3/4 complete. 2) The same 3/4 background is the same on the front of the signal, as well as an 8" visor! 3) Compare this peach basket with the pair from the OERM in Perris, CA, and you'll see that there's no bell on top of the wigwag. I was told that it was done that way be design!
Picture 6 shows the mechanical bell on the wigwag's mast. It's the only bell at this crossing. |
