An August 9, 2008 visit shows that for some weird reason, NS replaced only the side lights with 12"x20" incandescent Safetran lights, leaving the other 4 pairs of 8" GRS plastics alone...

On September 23, 2008, we find that NS got rid of the remaining 8" plastic lights and replaced them with used 12"x24" Safetran incandescent lights. Notice in picture 16 how the background is bent up a bit, showing that they are re-used from a previous installation.

Also notice that there still aren't any bells...

The 12"x20" Safetran incandescent side lights are still untouched.

Even though the 8" plastics are gone, the old GRS brackets are still here.

Another return visit to the crossing shows that NS replaced the mast signals with gated signals.
