Note: Although UP put the line out of service, DART has control over the line now, although it's very unlikely that DART will use this stretch of track anytime soon, due to oppositions between neighboring towns.
The only signal remaining at this crossing is a cantilever on the eastbound side. There used to be an identical cantilever on the westbound side, as well as separate short posts with gates only behind each cantilever but they were all removed. NO IDEA why they left the one cantilever... what's even stranger is that they removed the lights from the cantilever itself, but left the ones on the mast post. And then they came back and added an "EXEMPT" sign quite some time (months) after the other signals were taken down. |

Backside of the eastbound signal. The cantilever is topped with a very rusty WCH or WRRS bell. |
The lights are 12"x20" Modern Industries. One of the backlights has been hanging open since 2004. |

Facing west. |
Track view facing South. The siding going off to the left is what's left of the track that used to cross Split Trail. The small relay case for the Split Trail crossing is still there. |
Track view facing North. The relay case still exists... |
...And here it is. |

Thanks to Brian556, on January 15, 2011, we see that nothing has really changed here. |
The yellow arrow has faded off of this sign, because it's been here for at least a decade. The plan is to get it up and running by at least 2035, if that ever happens... |
