These signals are not your ordinary signals you'd find anywhere. These pictures were taken July 28, 2003.

These signals are Safetran/Griswold signals with what used to be EM gates. These signals used to have gates on them, but they were removed. Why? Because DART made a bridge over the crossing, and the gates were too long to keep on the signals. If you look on picture #3, you can see where a gate would go. These lights are also 8-inch. The backgrounds are newer however. It's nice to see someone keep up with such an antique signal instead of replacing them with 12" signals.

Google Street view shows that these signals still exist in their 8" form and with gateless EM designs.
