This is an unusual crossing in a good sort of way. These gateless 8" signals protect a pretty busy rail line, with speed limits up to 60 MPH! Note how unusual the side lights are mounted in picture 2. |

The ONLY reason that TrainmanKight's dog is pictured, is because while he was waiting for this train to arrive, Rutherford County Sheriff dept. came by because of a call by an unknown "weirdo" calling in to police stating that "two suspicious people and a dog were standing by the tracks with cameras and thinking they were going to throw the dog in the path of the oncoming train, and filming it."
