MICHIGAN SIGNALS (14 Videos)

Big thanks to gtw4070@gmail.com and his family, without them, these 14 Michigan videos would not be possible!

Freeland - A short video of the Freeland signals in action. I was too late to get people going around gates though.

Garfield - Another short video of the Garfield signals in action. You can't hear the clicking I talked about unfortunately.

Hermansau - The final video where we caught the same CSX train through the Freeland and Garfield crossings.

Lothrop - Another short video of a train backing up. Listen the the mechanical bell on the opposite signal near the end.

Main 1 - A very long video containing a train that holds traffic up for 3 minutes. Very good bell audio.

Main 2 - Another short video of 8" cantilever signals in action.

MSU - A 39 second video of one of the signals not working correctly.

Mt_Hope - A long video of a GTW train that holds up traffic for a very long time. I had to abandon it because it was too cold at the crossing.

Oak - Didn't get here on time. Once again, there's GS type 2 bells with a faint mechanical bell. I had to stop the video at the end because another train was leaving and we wanted to catch it.

Waverly - A long, slow train makes for a good video with a loud WCH bell. Almost 6 minutes long. I had to get in a car at the end so that we could leave.

Saginaw - A CSX train was waiting to enter DOW, and was so close that the train activated the signals for a very long time. It finally got in, creating a near 5 minute video!

Euclid - We saw a train waiting near this crossing. Luckilly, we didn't have too long to wait.

Henry - The same train from Euclid was now blocking the crossing to pick up some tanker cars. I took a slight video of the crossing bells, both close-up, and right underneath the signals. The "gonging" is quite strange to hear.

Salzburg - The same train from Euclid and Henry beat us to this crossing. I got about 90% of it though.

ARIZONA SIGNALS (19 Videos)

Apache- After getting the train at Congress, the train stops once again near the Yavapai crossing, setting the signals into a malfunction. After a 2 minute wait, it continues once again. There are 2 videos rolled into one clip here. One of the crossing gates is damaged, and crashes into the ground both times!
Congress 1- My first video of this crossing in action! Unfortunately, the train has to stop, because the engineer's time was up, and getting a replacement took too long, plus we were on our way to California on this day.
Congress 2- Two videos rolled into one here. Another train stops short again, but continues once again, after just a 3 minute delay. This was just after getting the train at the Date Creek crossing.
Congress 3- Taken November 30, 2005. I got a video from the other side of the crossing. It was going the wrong way, so I couldn't follow it unfortunately.

Cosnino - A relatively standard video of a train heading eastbound.

Date Creek - After getting the train at Kirkland, I had a long head start, unfortunately, when trying to retrace my steps, the train wasn't as far behind as I thought it was. One of the lights in this videos is damaged due to vandalizing.

Enterprise - Two trains almost going by one right after the other. Over 6 minutes combined!

Kirkland- Saw this train from Skull Valley, but was unable to catch it there, so I came over here and got ahead of it.

Garland 1- A BNSF train heads East through the crossing. You can hear how loud the gate mechanism is at the end of the train. I also think there's another train coming, which ends up being a false alarm.

Garland 2- Another eastbound video this time on the opposite side of the crossing. Once again, you can hear the gate mechanism at the end of the video.

Morristown- My first video from Morristown! BNSF is starting to slack off at this crossing. Two lights are burned out in this video. The bells work just fine though, which turn out to be General Signals Type 2 electronic bells! I get near the gate mechanism at the end of the video, and it too makes lots of noise when the gates rise.

Park 1 - A train heads eastbound. You can see the green light on the color light signal change to red during the duration.

Park 2 - A very fast moving train heading wesbound crosses. A short train too, crossing in just over 1 minute.

Park 3 - Similar scenario to Park 1.

Rodeo 1- Another video of the Grand Canyon train crossing in Williams. The bells are now WCH Type 2 electronic bells.

Rodeo 2 - A video which has not been seen on the website before. Just before I took my trip to the Grand Canyon, I got the Grand Canyon train in action, from the other side of the crossing this time. This was before I knew of the other 2 crossings existed.

Sherwood Forest 1- A train heading westbound waits near the crossing for a eastbound train. The gate lights on one of the gates has been changed, and will be seen at the beginning of the video.

Sherwood Forest 2 - Another eastbound train crosses, and just shortly after that, the westbound train goes. Almost 8 minutes combined.

Steves - General Signals type 1 and 2 bells now sound at this crossing. The tape isn't great for this crossing, and has some problems. I only got the last half of the train on tape.
