This crossing is part of F5Tornado@sbcglobal.net's Train simulator software. The WCH signals were made by Rrxingrick@aol.com.
This crossing in a fictional town of Elena, FBL even though the railroad calls this place Elena Junction for some odd reason. This town is about 5 miles Southwest of Dunktown. |

This is quite an elaborate crossing. I like the palm trees in picture 6. This area seems a little like an oasis in sorts. The signals are all WCH parts, including the lights, bells, and the Model 10 gates.
This crossing has been here since 1856! Click here for more crossing data. |

Very interesting scenery. There's even a McDonalds shown in picture 8 that has a logo back from the 1940s! Picture 9 shows the crossing in action. |

There's even a "NO RIGHT TURN" signal shown next to the signal shown in picture 10. Note how the light above the "NO RIGHT TURN" is yellow-ish. |

The crossing bells ring from start-up to deactivation! Pretty cool for a crossing like this! |

More views, including views down the track. The light you see in picture 18 is yellow, although it looks green-ish in a way. |

On November 20, 2006, the crossing was changed a bit. Cantilevers with lights only on the rear replace the mast flashers. The side lights and NO RIGHT TURN signal have been removed.
In picture 31, you can see that McDonalds has moved over to the right side of the street due to the road being widened to 4 lanes. It's unknown if the motel was demolished to make room for McDonalds. |

1 A 27-YEAR OLD MALE WAS INJURED FROM A SPRAINED ANKLE WHILE FALLING OFF HIS BICYCLE AFTER JUST MISSING GETTING HIT BY A TRAIN LOCOMOTIVE.
2 A 31-YEAR OLD MALE WAS INJURED BECAUSE HE COULDN'T STOP HIS VEHICLE IN TIME. HE HIT THE SIDE OF ONE OF THE BOXCARS, CAUSING MINOR DAMAGES. JUST SOME MINOR INJURIES TO HIS HEAD WAS ALL THAT OCCURED.
In 1994, a man ran the flashing lights as a UP train was barreling down on the crossing at 50 MPH. The man cleared the crossing just seconds before the locomotives entered the crossing with horn blaring. In 1987, a woman with two children in the back seat ran the flashing lights when she was trying to get her kids to school on time. An FBL coal train traveling at 35 MPH was 20 ft from the crossing when the woman just barely cleared the crossing in time. Her two children are very lucky that they even got to go to school that day.
