A bit off topic, but I thought this was interesting. This is just south of Willitis. Defunct crossing with rather modern cantilevers, 12X20 lights, and... triangle gate motors on both sides!

A bit odd... wonder why the signal is installed so far away from the tracks? I'm guessing at one time there was additional tracks, but the signal is even further back than the equipment box.

Great catch there Paul! I am very jealous. That new HD street view camera is amazing. You can zoom in and actually read "US&S Co." right off the bell!

How far is Lodi from you? Would be a cool spot if those worked. (they seem to be in okay condition)
