Didn't a lot of those crossings used to have mini bells? I think my mini may have come from one of those setups.

I think all those crossings did, the ones in Lisle had two, and the pictured crossing from railpictures has one though it's kind of hard to see it.

The 1275's were developed for, as the name implies, pedestrian crossings and residential areas where too loud a warning would prove offensive. There used to be tons of them in and around Chicago. Does anyone have pictures of those light head assys at Lisle? Those are the oldest WRRS I have come across.

I live in Lisle, I have some VHS video of them form when I was a little kid, every now and then I can find pictures of the pedestrian crossing online.
