Notice the dead-end sign lying on the ground in picture 6. Oddly, this was a dead-end before and now it is being pushed through as a road. Why have the cantilevers for a dead end and not for a full-service road?

This crossing used to be a single-track crossing with gated Safetran cantilevers, 12"x20" incandescent lights and Safetran mechanical bells. It's unknown why the WES construction brought the downgrade from cantilevers back to mast signals.
