Note: The 749202V (MP: 31.39) DOT number goes with the 2 gated mast signal crossing, and the 101891Y (MP: 31.40) DOT number goes with the single cantilever crossing that is now defunct. That crossing used to get 4 daily trains.
Note: The 101891Y DOT number has been officially retired by the FRA inventory reports.

This is a very weird crossing. The 2 gated signals make sense, but there's just one reverse cantilever seen in picture 3 for the second track.
Each signal has a mechanical bell on top of it. As far as I know, the crossing does NOT function as a double crossing, although it probably should. |

The spur track that the cantilever was protecting has gone defunct. You can see the crossbuck, yard limit signs, and the 10 MPH speed limit sign still exist for the time being in picture 9. The old line is still easilly viewable in picture 9 as well. |

The relay case for the cantilever signal now sits dormant. |
The cantilever is torn down, is missing the crossbuck and 12"x20" lights, but still has its mechanical bell still attached for now. |
The main line has a new grade. A very likely upgrade is coming for this crossing, and the older signals that still protect it. |
Google Street View shows that the crossbuck on the wooden post still exists, although the yard limit sign behind it is gone.
Pictures 7-13 were taken on July 6, 2007.

Andrew caught the crossing in action before WES starting running, which was back when the crossing only got 8 daily trains. P&W crosses January 9, 2009 @ 10:30 AM PST.
Note in picture 21 that the yellow lights for the "DO NOT STOP ON TRACKS" sign are not lit. They only flash when cars are backed up onto a sensor cut into the pavement on the other side of the tracks and when cars stopping on the tracks might actually occur. |

The train wasn't seen at the end because Andrew wanted to chase it, but due to heavy traffic, that was not possible. |
