This looks like an ordinary crossing with 12"x20" lights and two mechanical bells. |

The signals start up for a UP train coming from the right. |

As the train crosses, something is wrong though. The mechanical bell on this side of the crossing is barely working. |

UPDATE: There's a new mechanical bell that replaced the dying one. It was just about dead in late 2005.
