All pictures were taken sometime in September 2005.

At first, I wondered why I got sent a crossbuck crossing, but then after reading the description, I now know why.

The crossbuck on picture 2 is a very old one with the reading "SOUTHERN PACIFIC" on the wooden mast. The other crossbuck used to have exactly the same thing, however, it was replaced with what you see in pictures 1 and 3, due to the crossbuck leaning backwards near the tracks. In fear that a train could hit the crossbuck, it was replaced in early 2004, rather than fixing it.

Southern Pacific and Burlington Northern (before it became BNSF) used to share the tracks along with PNWR in 1993. SP didn't want to use the tracks anymore, and they abandoned their usage in 1994, and BN followed in 1995.

Track views of the crossing. Pretty full with the trees nearly covering the tracks in picture 5.
