There is a total of three mast signals, with 3 gates, and 3 WCH electronic bells. |
|
The 12"x20" lights are all clear L.E.Ds. |

More close-ups of the lights, and a view of all three signals as seen in picture 9. |

On May 20, 2006, Andrew got the crossing in action. We now know that the bells are WCH type 2 electronic bells, but ring a little slower than normal.
Note in pictures 10 and 11 that the traffic light next to the mast flasher is a different color than the traffic light across the tracks.
This is a safety precaution here. If someone's stopped on the tracks, the green light/arrow will give them time to get off the track before a train can hit them, and prevent other traffic from getting onto the tracks. |
