Facing North on Lombard Ave. You can see the new traffic signals bagged and the crossing lights hanging off the end of the pole, also still bagged.

A close-up of the eastbound Broadway St. signals. This is the only approach to have rear-facing lights.

Southbound Lombard Ave.

A close-up of the 12"x24" ball L.E.D. signals still bagged.
Eastbound on Broadway St. The signs that are covered read (on the left) LEFT TURN YIELD TO ONCOMING TRAFFIC and on the right NO TURN ON RED.

Now this seems like the worst thing to happen since the invention of 12"x24" lights! Really, who's bright idea was this!

There aren't even any bells on these traffic lights!

Now this is a bit more like it! Real 12"x24" signals from Harmon with Harmon fading L.E.D. lights with two WCH electronic bells will run with the 12"x24" traffic lights when the crossing opens!
