This is a little different installation. Two cantilevers and two mast signals. Take a look below for the second mast signal. |

A close-up of one of the mast signals. BTW: Even though the lights are L.E.D, the bells are mechanical. |

A view of across the street. |
Here's the other mast signal. Note the traffic lights here in the green arrow form are incandescent. I wonder if they stay green until a train comes??? Also note that there's a black box underneath the traffic light furthest away. That lights up a NO right turn image when the signals activate. Pretty complex. |

Here's the older look to this crossing. The upper pictures were recent upgrades. Note there is only one cantilever. The other signal is kind of hidden, but you can see it if you look hard enough. This picture is off some website and isn't taken by Andrew. |

Here's 170th Ave. with it's all construction all complete. Note the yellow "cones" sticking out of the median as compared to picture #1. |

Picture #10 shows a close-up of the L.E.Ds, which are Safetran fading L.E.Ds. |

This update was not planned, but when a whistle was heard nearby, this was the spot to get it. The strange thing about this crossing is that the mechanical bells START 5 seconds LATE! What I mean by that is the lights start flashing, and then 5 seconds later, the bells sound. They stay on until the gates go up. Pictures 11-16 were taken December 27, 2004. |

The train passes. |
Notice the "SOUTHERN PACIFIC" lettering on the last boxcar. |
The train ends, and the gates go up. |
