This is a very unusual crossing here. There's an extra traffic light here.

The signals are all 12"x24" Safetran incandescent lights with 2 Safetran mechanical bells with pedestrian crossing gates.

Facing the other way.
The traffic light changes to red...
...and the signals start up.

All pictures were taken on October 16, 2006.

The traffic light that says RAILROAD SIGNAL has a 8" yellow light on the bottom light that flashes yellow when the coast is clear. The 12" yellow light above the 8" light lights up steady when the signals are activating, and then changes to red when the gates begin to lower. There's another signal like this on the right part of the street.
