A typical installation by BNSF. Your usual 12"x24" Safetran incandescent lights, one GS type 2 electronic bell, and US&S gate mechanisms.

A view of the GS type 2 bell.
Here's proof that the lights are incandescent.

Picture 18 shows the area where a man lost his leg by a train.

Note: Gore Ave. is an incorrect street name. The FRA somehow has Big Bend Blvd. correct though.

An old No Trespassing sign back from BN days.
A nearby Depot sits by the crossing, including a giant O scale layout inside.

Pictures of a teardrop bell that used to exist at the crossing. Taken March 12, 2005.
Another view, and an activation sequence on April 24, 2005.

Also, the lights back in 2005 were Modern Industries incandescent 12"x24" lights. The teardrop bell was removed sometime in 2005, and replaced by the GS type 2 electronic bell.

The teardrop bell was in very poor shape, and barely worked on April 24, 2005. It was the only time that TrainmanKight ever heard this bell in action before the GS bell came along.
