We first start with some activation shots of the crossing. All main lights are 12"x20" frames. There is one each of the WCH and Safetran Hybrid bells. The side indicators for the Metrolink trains are in 12"x24" frames, and have white incandescent lights inside.

The WCH mechanical bell sounds from activation to when the gates fully lower. The Safetran Hybrid sounds from startup, until the gates rise.

Picture 6 is a mid-flash. The left LED does not fade, but the right one does. That's the reason for the mid-flash.

Most LED lights have Safetran FLX-2000B LEDs that fade, however for some weird reason, the left LED shown in pictures 7 and 9 is from Alstom.

On the other side of the crossing, not much is different, except for the WCH bell, and all FLX-2000A LEDs.

Note that Pictures 13-18 are the only shots from this side of the crossing. TrainmanKight wasn't on this side for 30 seconds when a female BNSF employee yelled for him to get off "their property".

The gate lights on this side are 4" incandescents. Also notice that the gate in picture 16 is a bit damaged from repeated strikings.

As a side note, this was the first crossing that TrainmanKight (while riding on the Metrolink train ) saw a General Signals gate guard (with springs) sprung for the first time, due to an impatient truck driver.
