37-38 are views of the East side gated cantilever. It has a WABCO Model 75 gate mechanism.
39 and 40 are front views of the East side gated cantilever signal. It is the same as the West side, except the mechanical bell works. It sounds like there is a birds nest in it though.

Another visit to the crossing on 1/27/2008 shows the WABCO Model 75 gate mechanism no longer exists. It has been replaced by a Safetran mechanism seen below.

Note: The 258096H crossing is a defunct spur crossing only protected by 2 crossbucks. The line has been torn out and no longer exists. You can see the remains of this track in picture 35. It's the far left track seen in the picture.


On January 27, 2008, this crossing had a couple of malfunctions due to Faulty motion detector cards.

 

The WCH mechanical bell on the cantilever signal seen in pictures 37-40 is on its last legs. Both bells seen in pictures 11 and 32 are dead as well. The one in picture 11 is an older GS type 1 that's likely had its circuitboard fried. The Safetran mechanical in picture 32 is completely dead.
