It has a WABCO Model 75 mechanism. 43 shows the relay case for the 4th track signals.

Another visit to the crossing on March 6, 2008 shows that Conrail's 4 mast signals are going to be torn up, and replaced with new ones. Most likely Safetran 12"x24" Ball LEDs, and GS Electronic bells. We shall see what is in store. I also caught a train here on GT's track during this visit.

You can see all the new bases installed near the signals. 46 shows they are moving the signal closer to the track, as it should of been to begin with. The lights are in excellent shape, as well as the 2 Safetran mechanical bells.

53 shows the gate down, and 54 shows the opposite side's gate also down. Notice the rear lights aren't flashing. This is because the train is not on that track. 55 shows the train approaching. 56 is a GT locmotive I shot in front of me as the train passed.

Another visit to the crossing reveals that Conrail replaced 2 of the 4 mast signals. They now include Safetran 12"x24" Ball LED's. A new relay case is also installed.

The new relay case, along side the old relay case. The tractor you see is what Conrail used to dig up the holes for the new bases, and for new wiring for the new case. It's alot better, and includes predictors, instead of the old motion detectors.

The 3rd track signals are still the same. Don't expect this to last, as these signals only have a few days left in existance... (as of April 22, 2008)

The 2 outside gates go down when ever there is a train on any of the 4 tracks. The relay cases are all wired to each other, so if one crossing is acitvated, the gates will go down.
