Here's the crossing that's next to M-52's crossing. A spur line was built off the main line and went to the Woodard Furniture Factory as seen in picture 2.
The factory was closed down in 1998, and the last time that Gregg saw a train pass by here was in 1997. It picked up a boxcar, and (I assume) went across M-52. Gregg last saw a boxcar on this spur on June 22, 2002. The spur was taken out around October or November, 2004. As you can see in picture 3, the second track still exists at the M-52 grade for the defunct spur.
Picture 1 shows a "2 tracks" sign, but there was never more than 1 track here at this crossing. The signs are now protecting nothing for some odd reason...
Picture 2 shows where the track used to exist. (Hint: Look at the lower center of the picture). |

Here's the other side of the crossing with the rare black 2 TRACKS sign with white letters. You can see in picture 5, how warn out the sign really is. Pictures 4-6 were taken May 21, 2005. |

Note: The reason for the TSBY logo is due to TSBY abandoning this crossing before it was sold and changed to the "Great Lakes Central Railroad".
