These signals are still untouched. They are all 8" lights with mechanical bells. The lone signal on picture 3 looks newer than the cantilevers, that's because they used to be 1920s GRS lights that were in very bad shape. It's still nice that they kept with the 8" theme. The cantilver lights used to be the old Griswold type lights back in February 2004. It's cool that NS replaced all the lights with new 8" lights instead of getting 12"x24" lights. |

Picture 4 shows the bell installation on the mast. That's rare to find anymore. Picture 5 shows that these signals were made by the Griswold Signal company. Kind of weird, especially since they're lights aren't here anymore. Picture 6 shows the lights are made by safetran, and you also get a look at the crossing ID number on the mast. This crossing was seen activated in 2003, and the lights work just fine. |
