Pictures 1 and 2 show crossbucks and Stop signs, but there's more to it than meets the eye. Picture 3 faces North with a couple of railfans.

Picture 4 faces South. Picture 5 shows a old relay case. Picture 6 shows what's left on the inside. Believe it or not, this crossing used to have signals!

 

According to the FRA, prior to 1998, one bell and 2 gateless signals used to guard this crossing. For reasons unknown, the crossing was turned passive in 1998 and has remained this way ever since.
