These pictures were taken in mid-2002.

 

The crossing was up(down)graded in mid to late-2002 to five 12"x24" L.E.D. signals with no gates. The FRA says there's 4 signals though.

 

At certain crossings, the signals only activate once the train is very close to the street. Federal law requires that the signals be activated for at least 20 seconds before the train enters the crossing. The STOP sign lets trains wait those 20 seconds.

 

This crossing was owned by Amtrak before 1978.
