The backgrounds look a little aged. Interesting things with these sets of pictures. The signal on the left must be the oldest. The backgrounds are worn out, even greyed out completely. The signal is also missing a crossbuck. Westford must make things do, even the Keep Ri_ht sign is missing it's G.

This must be a very busy road to have so many signals at one 1-Track crossing. These signals have lots of weeds along the tracks.

A couple more pictures, including the gateless signal seen in picture 7.

Construction workers were here on the day Andrew decided to come here. A truck broke off a rail, and the Guilford Railroad was here to repair it. The signals were deactivated during the repairs. A train did come through this crossing while the signals were off. A police officer was there to act as a flagman while the train crossed. Picture 13 shows another Point of View of the crossing.

Here's an updated look at this crossing at Winter, 2002. Not much has changed.

Pictures 1-14 were taken in 2002.

These new pictures taken January 9, 2007 show a dramatic change in the crossing!

All lights are now 12"x20" WCH L.E.D. lights. Although you can't see, the gate lights are also WCH L.E.D.

There are now two crossing bells now, and they are WCH type 2 electronic bells.

A few more pictures. You can barely see the gateless signal in picture 21.

Andrew was confronted by a Police Officer during these pictures. Nothing happened, but Andrew left quickly afterwards.

In 2006, the crossing was closed for resurfacing the crossing. The main reason was a bridge further down the track was being replaced, as a result, the grade here went up a bit higher. It's unknown why Pam Am upgraded the signals even though the signal upgrade wasn't necessary IMO.

The median signal in picture 14 was torn down and moved to the opposite side of the road, almost setting up a 4-quad intersection.

There are now traffic lights giving advance warning to when a train is coming. I don't think this was really needed.
