You can see some tracks heading into a deep part of a forest. There's no way a train could make it safely on these tracks Today.

 

It's said that this line was abandoned in the 1970s, but was not officially closed until 2003 by the latest FRA report.

The FRA report does mention 1 crossing bell when the crossing did exist. I wonder if it was a mistake by the FRA?

 

There were crossbucks here in the past, but they were removed in the 1980s. The posts for the crossbucks still exist though.
