This crossing has 8" CLEAR L.E.D. lights! There is a wasp nest near the top of the 8" light though! Someone should kill those things...

 

Everything is made by WCH, except the bell, which is a WRRS mechanical bell seen in picture 3.

On November 17, 2006 at 3:01 PM EST, we find the crossing in action! The NO RIGHT TURN sign lights up on Minot Ave. (US 202, ME Route 4).

The train finishes, the gates rise, and you can see the end of the train going down the tracks in picture 15.

 

Picture 15 was taken at 3:05 PM EST. The signals were active for about 4 minutes.
