You can see a train on the right track.

Facing South.

You can see a 12"x24" crossing in the background of picture 1.

Facing West.
There's a train near the crossing!
The crossing in action with a flagger!

The mechanical bell you see on picture 4 is a WRRS bell, that's barely clinging to life.

The relay case is open for some odd reason.
You can now see a third locomotive. It comes to push the train across the crossing.

All pictures were taken on November 7, 2006.

CLICK THE ICON TO THE LEFT TO HEAR THE CROSSING IN ACTION.
(RECORDED DECEMBER 8, 2006; THIS BELL IS IN PRETTY BAD SHAPE)

Just for kicks, both signals along with track views were taken on July 12, 2007, although the quality looks like it was taken from a cell phone. Not a good idea to take pictures from a cell phone.
