This crossing in on UP's Clinton Subdivision. Bertram is the first township (Bertram is unincorporated) East of Cedar Rapids.

 

The crossing protection consists of two gated signals. All of the lights are Harmon 12"x24" incandescent. The gate motors are WCH, but the gate arm supports are MI. There is also a GS electronic bell.

 

According to the FRA, a pair of wigwags were here until 2006! I think the wigwags were replaced in the mid-to-late 1980s, given the age of the current signals.
