This crossing is on the UP/Metra Northwest Line that parallels US Highway 14 northwest out of Chicago.
These pictures were taken during a weekend trip to Chicago for a wedding in the family. They show the crossing in action for an outbound Metra commuter train.
The signal shown has a Safetran gate motor, Safetran mechanical bell, and Safetran 12" x 24" lights with Union Pacific dotted L.E.D.s. The other signal is the same except without the bell.
All pictures were taken on July 14, 2007.
