This crossing use to be one of my favorites to watch trains at. This crossing has 2 gated signals with Safetran 12X24 Incandescant lights, RECO gate lights, and two General Signals Type 2 E Bell, which ring until the gates go up.
Pictures were taken back in November 2007.

Returning to this crossing in December 2008, I find a shocking surprise. The WABCO/US&S Model 75 gate mechanism has been replaced with a Safetran Gate Mechanism (BOO!) Also, notice pictures 15 and 16. The gates dont have gate guards! So if someone runs into them, they wont bend back, thus the gates will get smashed to bits... Not a very good idea in my opinion CSX!
