Here is the 12"x24" signal with 8" lights on the side. A Safetran mechanical bell is on the signal. |
|||
The signal activates, and shows that the front lights are Dialight/Safetran FLX-4000 ball LEDs. As you can see in pictures 9 and 10, the 8" side lights were not wired up, and do not light. |

Pictures 1-17 were taken March 2, 2007. |
The signal now has the 8" lights removed. They were just a test, and that's why they didn't light up. |

Everything else on the signal is the same. |

Pictures 18-32 were taken March 6, 2007. |

Here's the four Safetran frames disassembled. The mast you saw above was for the 8" signal. The lights were removed until another mast could be acquired. The left set of lights in pictures 33 and 34 are incandescent. The right set of lights have the Safetran/Dialight FLX-4000 ball LEDs in them.
Picture 36 shows the Dialight 8" ball LED, used for traffic lights. You can find it in action back on the 8" page. |

Another picture of the 8" traffic light LED. Pictures 33-37 were taken April 21, 2007. |
Still waiting for a mast, the lights are assembeled without backgrounds or visors. These pictures show the Dialight/Safetran FLX-4000s. |
||
The rear lights are still incandescent. A Safetran mechanical was wired up too. Pictures 38-43 were taken May 31, 2007. |
A side view of the ball LEDs. |

Pictures 44-49 were taken June 2, 2007. |
A new mast was acquired, and the 12" lights are going up on it. A Safetran type 1 electronic bell goes on top as well. |
||
Pictures 50-57 were taken July 15, 2007. |
The backgrounds and visors have been added on July 17, 2007. |
||
On the night of July 18, 2007, both the 8" and 12"x24" signals were lit up as seen in pictures 78 and 79. The bell has changed to a Safetran Hybrid. |
