This is a very weird setup here. You can get here either by exit 241 if you're heading Northwest on US 101, or exit 241B if you're heading Southeast on US 101. There are three relay cases here. Note that only one is labeled somewhat correctly, although all information on it is all wrong.
These crossings are actually off a UP spur line that seems to be somewhat dead, if it isn't dead already.
There are a total of 3 signals for 3 crossings. You can see two of them in pictures 3 and 4. The one you see in front belongs to the 752080W (MP: 205.12) crossing. This signal has 12"x24" incandescent Safetran lights. |

Picture 5 shows the rear view of the signal in picture 3. You can only turn left at this intersection, and that's why there's a gate guardng that intersection. Picture 6 shows the other signal, also at 752080W, getting off at Exit 241. Both of these crossings are next to each other. Each signal has a mechanical bell. Picture 6 also has 12"x24" Safetran incandescent lights with the only 7" gate lights at the crossing. |

A side view of the second relay case (picture 2). |
This lone cantilever signal at 752083S (MP: 205.18) guards Exit 241B. This signal has 12"x20" incandescent MI lights, along with 1 mechanical bell and 4" gate lights. |

Just West of the Exit 241B signal is a military area, which you're not allowed in. BOO!! I hate restricted areas like this! |

Notes: The US 101 underpass is crossing 752082K (MP: 205.13), just for your information.
Note how all 3 signals don't have any rear lights. This is the one true place where no rear lights totally works!
There's plans to close down Camp Roberts soon (if it hasn't already closed down), which could kill life for all 3 signals. They don't look like they've seen any action for ages!
The FRA reports were updated in 2008. Apparently the 752081D (pictures 3-5) (MP: 205.12) DOT number has been retired, and the two signals at 752080W have been merged together as one crossing, with the report reflecting this. The 752081D crossing has not been closed by the FRA yet, but is the only entry to still have a date of 1989 on it, while the other 2 crossings have dates of 2008, so it's probably UP slacking off.
