This kind of bell pictured above is an WRRS bell.

 

WCH, and US&S still makes these types of bells today. These weigh 27 pounds. Union Switch & Signal doesn't give the weight of their bell, although it should weigh about the same.

Makers of this bell were the Western Railroad Supply Co. (WRRS), Byrant Zinc Company (Pre-WRRS), Federal Signal (FS), Modern Industries (MI), WABCO, General Railway Signal (GRS), and General Railway Signal Company de Argentina (GRSA).
